Olga Fischer
Olga Fischer writes psychological crime thrillers about people, secrets, and the traces the past leaves behind.
Stories have been part of her life since childhood. In an old school notebook, she once began an adventure about Captain Jack. The notebook still exists. The story remains unfinished. The writing did not.
Born into a family of ethnic Germans from Russia, Olga later moved to Germany with her own family. After studying economics and linguistics and spending years working in finance, she returned there to an ambition she had postponed for a long time: writing a novel.
That decision became the Marlena Ritter series — psychological crime stories with a dark, Nordic atmosphere and characters whose past rarely stays where it belongs.
Olga lives with her family in Germany, along with an exceptionally fluffy female Scottish Straight, who takes her own personal space very seriously — while consistently ignoring ours.
It began with a notebook …
An old school notebook containing an unfinished adventure about Captain Jack has survived the years. One day, that story may finally get its ending.
